How do I qualify for the Deluxe Challenge?
You can qualify for the Deluxe Challenge through our freeroll or satellite qualifiers taking place throughout the week and you can view the full schedule in the PlayerZone.

You can also buy your ticket directly through the software by clicking on the ‘Multi Tourney’ tab, and then ‘Private’ tab and registering for €250.

How much are the tickets and packages worth?
Deluxe Challenge tickets are worth €250.  Deluxe Challenge Packages are worth €550

What is included within the ticket and package prizes?
Deluxe Challenge Tickets include:
-              €200 + €20 Entry into the €75,000 GTD Vienna Deluxe Challenge
-              €50 of cash table credits, drinks and food vouchers for use at the Montesino Card Club
-              Qualifier Merchandise to play in during the Deluxe Challenge

Deluxe Challenge Packages include:
-              €200 + €20 Entry into the €75,000 GTD Vienna Deluxe Challenge
-              €300 cash in players account to spend on travel and accommodation.

Where will the Vienna Deluxe Challenge tournament take place?
The tournament will take place at the Montesino card club which lives by its motto of ‘Where poker meets entertainment’.  You can check out full details of the club at http://www.montesino.at

What will the tournament structure be?
Players will receive 20,000 starting chips and the blind levels will increase every 40 minutes.  A full structure will be available for viewing shortly.

Will there be entertainment?
Of course we want to spend some time getting to know all our players attending and ensuring they have a great time at the Montesino and in Vienna.  We look forward to hosting all attendees and their guests and will reveal details of planned entertainment closer to the event.

What about travel and accommodation?
We know that Poker players are the best at finding deals for flights and hotels so we will leave this up to you!  The closest hotel to the Montesino is roomz – www.roomz-vienna.com and if booking early you can receive a special Poker rate for those playing in the tournament; just contact our support as soon as possible.  Vienna is full of many hotels and with the Montesino just 200 metres from an underground station, and around €12 in a taxi from the centre of Vienna, the choice is yours.  To ensure you get the best deal we would also recommend using www.trivago.de for your booking. Trivago is one of the biggest and best hotel search engines for Germany and Austria and has excellent deals. If you don’t need an expensive hotel than the Etap Vienna Sankt Marx will be also be a good alternative, especially as it is only a couple of minutes walk away from the Montesino.

What is the starting time of each day?
Day 1A will not start until 19:00 CET so there is plenty of time if you are playing on the Friday to arrive and relax before hitting the felt.  Day 1B will start at 14:00 CET and Day 2 will start at approximately 14:00 and run until the tournament concludes.
IMPORTANT: We advise all players travelling from outside Austria to book accommodation including the night of the 30^th October as the final table is unlikely to be completed before late on the 30^th October.

Can I buy-in direct at the card club?
Players will be able to buy-in directly to the Vienna Deluxe Challenge at the Montesino card club if there are still seats available however it is highly recommended that players buy-in to their chosen day via the online software prior to travelling to Vienna to avoid disappointment.

If I get knocked out of the tournament – will there be other Poker for me to play?
Absolutely yes.  Unlike many other European tournaments – players knocked out on Day 1A will have the option to buy-in again on Day 1B (if player registration cap of 350 for Day 1B has not been reached already).  The Montesino card club will also have daily cash games running offering a choice of limits in Texas Hold’em Limit and No Limit, Omaha Pot Limit and Seven Card Stud.  In the words of the Montesino;  ‘Just let the floorman know, what you would like to play and let the fun begin!’

How much will it cost me to become a member of the Montesino and what ID is required?
Becoming a member of the Montesino card club will be completely free however all players are required to bring official photo ID with either a Passport or Driving Licence recommended.  Full details of club membership requirements can be viewed here – http://www.montesino.at/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=64&Itemid=55&lang=en

Can I bring friends or family?
Absolutely- we want to make the Deluxe Challenge a great atmosphere so encourage all players to bring guests who are of course welcome to try and qualify or buy-in directly online.  It should be noted however that all guests attending the Montesino must be over 18.

Is there a dresscode for the Montesino Card Club?
As the Montesino is a Cardclub and not a Casino there is no special dresscode. ‘Come as you are’ and enjoy your visit.

Terms & Conditions – Vienna Deluxe Challenge

(C) The’ promoters’ of the ‘Vienna Deluxe Challenge’ as referred to throughout the terms and conditions are Poker Heaven and Mermaid Poker. Other 3rd party partner sites will have the option to participate in qualification satellites and promotions however will adhere to the terms and conditions as detailed by ‘the promoters’.
The Tournament event that represents the prizes is the Vienna Deluxe Challenge.
The event will take place between 28th-30th October 2011.
‘The promoters’ will not be responsible for booking the accommodation. However a list of hotels near Montesino is provided here to help the winners in their selection of hotels.
‘The promoters’ will not be responsible for booking flights. Winners should check flights availibility.
The minimum age limit for the tournament is 18.
‘The promoters’ accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any players during any of these promotions, such as a fold / timeout.
‘The promoters’ reserves the right to refuse this offer to any player or to withdraw this / or part of this offer / promotion at any time.
‘The promoters’ cannot be held responsible for any ‘fold / timeouts’ or disconnections as per the general rules of the Mermaidpoker and Poker Heaven’s Poker service. If the game is disrupted by system or network issues, ‘the promoters’ reserve the right to resolve the issue as it sees fit.

In the event of cancellation or buy-in unavailability, cash equivalent will be awarded.
Any player who wins any of the promotions has the right not to participate. There is no cash alternative. In this instance, ‘the promoters’ will usually pick the runner-up as the replacement, subject to their total discretion.
The dress code for the tournament is smart /casual.
The winners will be required to wear branded clothing from Mermaidpoker.com, PokerHeaven.com, or the 3rd party provider they qualified from whilst at the main event whenever they are playing, subject to event permissions.
By participating in the tournament you agree to reasonable publicity, including betting markets around the event and television media interviews and press releases. Event reports will also feature the name and alias of the winners.
Players can win multiple entries to the Vienna Deluxe Challenge. Should any player win two or more tickets or packages then he or she will have the option to receive cash alternative or transfer the additional ticket or package to another player.
It is the Players responsibility to have all the necessary documents /visa to travel to Austria.
All Vienna Deluxe tournaments and live final may be shown on the Poker Channel Europe. By participating in the ‘Vienna Deluxe Challenge tournaments, players accept to have their alias shown on the Poker Channel Europe and their play shown with hole cards revealed.
The ‘promoters’ reserve the right to edit all online and live final footage prior to transmission on the Poker Channel Europe.
Players attending the live Vienna Deluxe Challenge at the Montesino Card Club Vienna will be responsible for their own welfare and insurance when in attendance at the event or any of the hospitality events between 28th-30th October
Players winning ‘tickets’ to the Vienna Deluxe Challenge will win €250 tickets that include €200+€20 buy-in to the €75,000 Vienna Deluxe Challenge and additional card club vouchers to an estimated value of €50 but a minimum guaranteed value of €30.
Players winning packages to the Vienna Deluxe Challenge will win €550 packages that include €300 cash for expenses, €200+€20 buy-in to the €75,000 Vienna Deluxe Challenge and additional card club vouchers to an estimated value of €50 but a minimum guaranteed value of €30. Players will be credited the €300 cash within 72 hours of winning their package.
The promoter reserves the right to amend, withdraw or add to the stated features that comprise the ‘packages’ qualifiers will be entitled to.
The ‘promoters’ reserve the right to amend the dates or cancel the Vienna Deluxe Challenge should unforeseen circumstance arise. All qualifying players will be awarded the stated cash value of their ticket (€250) in such an occasion.
Participating players agree to be a good ambassador for Mermaid Poker, Poker Heaven, or 3rd party partners at all times. This includes being cordial towards other players and hosts, dealers and tournament organizers at the event. Any player deemed to be behaving outside inappropriately can be excluded from the online satellites or Vienna Deluxe Challenge live event at the discretion of ‘the promoters’.
The ‘promoters’ reserve the right to use the customer’s name, online alias and picture on the website and in any media which we see suitable without any further compensation to the customer. The customer also agrees to promote Mermaid Poker or Poker Heaven in any interviews with media arranged by Mermaid Poker or Poker Heaven staff or management.
All winning accounts are subject to standard Fraud and Security checks to ensure compliance with Promotional and General Network Ts&Cs. Any accounts found to be in breach of Fraud or Network rules will be locked and disqualified from the promotions
Mermaid Poker & Poker Heaven reserve the right to adjudicate or amend any result as they see fit.
