Mermaid Pokers Hall Of Fame is tribute to the players who have made an extraordinary achievement at the tables. The five categories that you can be inducted into the Hall of Fame are;

1.    Online Player of the year 2006
2.    Offline player of the year 2007
3.    Most raked hands in one month
4.    Most raked hands one day
5.    Special achievement

There are 3 methods of being inducted into the Hall of Fame

  1. Selected by Mermaid Poker.
    Every year Mermaid Poker selects the best online and offline MP player. The criteria for these selections can be seen below. These selected Players will always be a part of the Hall of Fame.
     
  2. Records-  2 Ongoing.
    Mermaid Poker has 2, ongoing Hall of Fame record competitions.  The criteria for these records can be seen below. Players who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame for their achievements in one of these ongoing competitions will only be in the Hall of Fame until their record is beaten.
     
  3. Special  Achievements
    As well as the players selected as Players of the year, we will also select a player for his or her special achievements. The criteria for this award can be seen below.


Criteria for induction into the Hall of Fame.

  1. Selected by Mermaid Poker – Every year Mermaid Poker selects “The Player of the Year”, online and offline.
    - Online Player of the Year – Is the Mermaid Poker player who, throughout the entire year, has shown the extraordinary poker skills. This category includes Sit & Go, cash and tournament games. The inductee is selected by Mermaid Poker.
    - Offline Player of the Year - Is the player who has obtained the best IRL results wearing Mermaid Poker colours. In this category it is only IRL tournament results that count. The inductee is selected by Mermaid Poker.
     
  2. Records - 2 Ongoing- You can be removed from this category if your record is beaten.

    - Most Raked Hands in one Month - The player who has the most raked hands in one month will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.  Rake more hands than the player with the record and you will overtake his place in the Hall of Fame.
    - Most Raked hands in one day - The Player who, from midnight + 24rs, that plays the most raked hands will be inducted into the hall of Fame.  Rake more hands than the player with the record in 24 hrs and you will overtake his place in the Hall of Fame.
     
  3. Special Achievements - Unique results can also have you inducted into the Hall f Fame.

    -    Special Achievements is a general term and can include various unique results, however these results must be of a positive nature. For ex, you cannot be inducted for the longest period on TILT etc. The only player at this point in time that has been inducted into the hall of fame in the Category of Special Achievements is a good example. Inductee, “Lars”, has excelled, winning the big Sunday tournament no less than twice in just one month. It is unique achievements of this nature that will see you inducted into Mermaid Pokers Hall of Fame in this category.
